Cabernet Sauvignon
A robust Cabernet with a deep garnet-red hue and typical varietal aromas and flavors of blackberries, black cherries, currants, bell pepper accented with a spicy, vanilla oak taste. This wine has a good body and a silky long finish. This Cabernet calls for a big juicy Texas steak.
Chardonnay
A lively bright Chardonnay with a light straw hue. This wine has a fine snap of acidity, Granny Smith flavors, and a sweet-anise finish. This Chardonnay comes alive with a plate of food: salty shellfish, light-textured white fish, and chicken will bring out the fruit.
Don Luis Tawny Port
Typical brown/orange color hue, this Port tantalizes with exotic aromas of toffee and coffee. It has a warm fruity taste of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and roasted coffee with a sweet long finish.
Merlot
Very soft tannins and velvety texture. This is an elegant wine that straddles the line between ripe blackberry and plum flavors with a distinguished and prolonged finish.
Muscat Canelli
True to its character, this wine provides an elegant perfume of roses and lemon. It has a lovely spiciness, notes of ripe pineapple, peaches, and orange blossoms and pleases with a long full finish. This Muscat Canelli would be an elegant partner for desserts and sharp cheeses. Also good enjoyed instead of dessert.
Sangiovese
The color is a typical red ruby hue and very intense bouquet. It has a great array of typical aromas of strawberry, violets, and iris. The flavor is fruity, structured, and with a long finish.
Sauvignon Blanc
A polished wine that is silky textured, smoky and lightly suffused with a sweet oakiness that doesn't overshadow the fruit. It provides a mouthful of well-integrated flavors of pear, lemon peel and orange. This Sauvignon Blanc would be a fine match for shellfish or seafood.
Texas Rosé
Color hue of this Rosé is cherry-like. This wine is flamboyantly fruity, reminiscent of maraschino cherries, candied strawberries and raspberries. The Texas Rosé begs for a red-checkered picnic cloth laden with bar-b-que, or a southern style brunch of salty ham or sausage and buttery biscuits.
