The lush fruit combined with the baking spice notes from aging in French oak broadens the mouthfeel and gives this full and rich wine definition and length.

The 2006 Nonny’s Vineyard Pinot Noir is a sophisticated wine, with excellent structure and texture. Its soft earthy aromas of truffles, smoke and cocoa marry with dark fruit, cooked strawberries and dry rose petals. The style was designed to showcase the wine’s spiciness and complexity. Blackberry, dried cherry and plum notes with slight floral and white pepper aromas greet you on the nose. The body is medium to full with a lingering finish of pepper, smoke and slight herbal notes. Because of it’s lively acidity, this wine will continue to improve with age through the next decade.
