Poteet Country Winery is a small winery located in the small South Texas town of Poteet. The winery makes all of its wine from locally grown fruit. Wines include: Strawberry, Strawberry Reserve, Mustang Grape, White Mustang, Peach, Blackberry, Pear and others depending on the season. Poteet Country Winery offers a relaxing country atmosphere. You are welcome to come and picnic, enjoy special chuck wagon cook-offs, hayrides, old west get-togethers, and foot stomping musical events. Planning an event or company picnic? Poteet Country Winery is the perfect place with plenty of parking, a covered patio with a stage and over 1 acre of land for plenty of space to set up. Poteet country Winery can also be a beautiful setting for weddings. Smaller Groups are always welcome for a tour and wine tasting. Blackberry
Available in a sweet or dry version (Bronze medal in Lone Star Wine Competition 1999). Made only from ripe sweet Poteet Blackberries.

Mustang Wine
Rich, fruity red wine made from wild Mustangensis grapes gathered in and around Poteet Texas.( A taste like no other grape) Won Best Non-Vintage Red wine at Grapefest 2000, and Silver for Non-Vintage Red in 2001.

Peac
Sweet, very peachy wine from local Poteet Peaches

Pear
Only the dry version is avalable at this time. It is made from local hard pears, and should be ready in a sweet version again in late 2005.
