Peju Province Winery
|
|
Peju Province is recognized as one of Napa Valley’s top wineries. Wine & Spirits Magazine gave its highest honor to Peju Province, naming it the “Top Artisan Winery of the Year.” Wine Spectator selected the Peju Reserve as one of “the top California Cabernets.” Most of the highly sought after wines are sold only from the winery, with a small percentage available through distributors in a few states, making them a special find.

Cabernet Franc Napa Valley
The fruit in the Napa Valley Cabernet Franc was specially selected from our organically grown Rutherford Vineyard and sustainably farmed Persephone Vineyard. From the crush pad into the cellar, our winemaker then aged the fruit for 18 months in the finest French and American Oak barrels to impart distinctive flavors and provide sound tannin structure.
|
Cabernet Sauvignon H.B. Vineyard
Rich, garnet hues with deep layers of magenta, crimson and ruby. Aromas of opulent black fruit, tobacco, coffee and toasted notes with hints of leather and cedar on the nose. Beautifully focused flavors of plum and cocoa. The well-structured mid-palate gives way to supple flavors of dark berries and espresso which dance in the mouth. Impeccable tiers of flavor and structure in the finish inger long after the glass is empty. This wine showcases what Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon can offer: pure fruit expression with concentrated and complex character.

Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
Our 2005 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted from hand-selected Napa Valley fruit. After harvest, the fruit spent extended maceration time on the skins for deeper color and flavor components. It was then aged 18 months in 40% new French and American Oak. The wine is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot from our organically farmed Rutherford Vineyard and sustainably farmed Persephone Vineyard.
|
Carnival French Colombard
This French Colombard comes from an old head-trained vineyard in Redwood Valley, Mendocino County. The vineyard is situated in a cool growing area, and this fruit is often some of the last fruit that we harvest.
|
Estate Bottled Merlot Napa Valley
The combination of outstanding fruit, ideal ripeness and premium barrel aging makes our 2005 Merlot extraordinarily elegant and velvety if enjoying now or in years to come. The wine is 87% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc from our organically farmed Rutherford Vineyard and sustainably farmed Persephone Vineyard.

It was barrel aged on the lees for 6 months. 100% Persephone Vineyard, 100% Chardonnay.
