Calistoga Inn Restaurant & Brewery
|
|
In 1987, the Calistoga Inn gave birth to Calistoga beer and the Napa Valley Brewing Company. The Inn was the first establishment to brew beer commercially in Napa County since the days of prohibition. It brews four principle beers: Calistoga Wheat Ale, Pilsner, Red Ale & Porter. In addition, other seasonal beers are brewed throughout the year, such as the Kolsch, IPA, Pale Ale & Oatmeal Stout. 100% percent of the brewery's production is served on draft at the Calistoga Inn. We also sell 22 ounce bottles, which are all hand-bottled. We have a 7-barrel gas fired brewhouse that was originally designed by Dr. Michael Lewis of UC Davis. Our current total annual production is about 450 barrels. After long hours of wine tasting, there's nothing like a cold beer on the patio of the Calistoga Inn.
