Since 2001, Willowbrook Cellars has been producing premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley. In 2001 and 2002, our fruit came from the Owl Ridge Vineyard in Forestville, CA, in the heart of the Russian River Valley. In 2003, 2004 and 2005 we acquired additional grapes from the Dutton Morelli vineyard, a well-known source of outstanding fruit. In 2005 we also picked up some Pinot Noir from the Kastania Vineyard in southern Sonoma County. The 2004 wines are tasting great now and barrel samples of the 2005 vintage are wonderful. We have now released all of our 2004 wines and they taste great. We still have a few cases of our 2003 Chardonnay - Owl Ridge Vineyard, and of our 2003 Pinot Noir - Owl Ridge Vineyard.

Chardonnay JCO Limited Russian River Valley
The blend displays aromas of ripe fruit with notes of toasty oak. Offering a balance of bright fruit and rich textures, this wine has enough strength of character to go with most foods and will enhance any dining experience.

Dutton Morelli Vineyard Pinot Noir – Russian River Valley
The production ended up being just 334 cases. We were so impressed with the wine that we decided to secure future fruit for future harvests as well. Because the arrangement is for a specified block, we can control yields to ensure consistent quality. Willowbrook works to make wines that exploit the unique character of select vineyards.

Owl Ridge Vineyard Chardonnay – Russian River Valley
This is our third year of the Owl Ridge Vineyard Chardonnay and I am proud to say that the wine from this vineyard seems to improve with each vintage. It is due to a combination of the winemaker learning what works for this particular fruit and the maturing of the vineyard. The aromas jump out of the glass with bright fresh cut apples and pears, with hints of cinnamon and other brown spices. It is beautifully balanced and has an abundant amount of fruit, with a richness and good lively texture that works well to complement the richest of foods. This wine will be a major feature of any fine dining experience.

Owl Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir – Russian River Valley
This wine is by far the richest of our Owl Ridge Vineyard Pinots. It has complex aromas and is rich in color and body. The wine offers aromas of dark fruits, with hints of cola and anise. The flavors are much defined with ripe pie cherries and a rich mouth feel that makes this wine very enjoyable with from everything from Salmon to Duck. It would be a major feature of any fine dinner experience.

Pinot Noir Estate Grown Russian River Valley
This wine offers enticing aromas of black cherry, savory roasted meats, with hints of coffee and spices. Ripe red fruit on the palate is complemented by notes of cocoa, brown spice, and fennel. A supple mouthfeel and rich complexity make this wine perfect for pairing with a variety of dishes, as well as being very enjoyable to sip on its own.
