West-Whitehill Winery, founded in 1981, has established a tradition of producing fine wines from grapes grown in the cool, dry, sunny climates of the South Branch Valley and Potomac Highlands of eastern West Virginia. Our Climate is particularly suited for the cultivation of the best French- American grapes.

We are three miles south of Moorefield, WV (and seven miles north of Petersburg, WV) on routes 220, 55, and 28, adjacent to the Valley View Golf Course.

Aurore Blush
A semi-sweet blush table wine.

The Seyval Blanc grape is a French-American varietal developed to survive our colder winters. It yields a semi-dry, well-balanced, full bodied white wine with a fruity bouquet and clear, crisp finish.

Such a delight to sip these amazing wines. My favs are Raspberry Royale and Classic Currant as I love the sweet ones. The quaint winery is a joy to visit. Taylor is a great tour guide and the wine tasting leaves you wanting even more. Ceasar is the main attraction and a real delight. Plan to visit again before the snow flies. Truly one of West Virginias premiere wineries. West-Whitehill certainly does West Virginia proud!!
