Vetter Vineyards Winery
Current owners Mark and Barbara Lancaster bought the wine estate from the Vetter family in October of 2003. Mark has over 20 years experience in the wine industry and Barbara has been in the business since 2000. Our passion for wine has brought us here as we look forward to producing smaller batches of quality wine that can be made from our Estate grown varieties such as Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Riesling Cab Sauv and Cab Franc and many, many others. In 2005 we will produce 22 different wines. Sixteen wines we will have available as our regular "line" of wines, while the other six will be available on a first come, first served basis, when they are gone, they are gone.
We also buy some local cherries and blueberries and make these two fruit wines. We may even toy with a blueberry port.
Mark and Barbara have a five year plan to make Vetter Vineyards Winery as the Premier boutique winery in Chautauqua County and one of the best in New York State. Stop by and taste our premium wines and share our passion.
