Cabernet Franc - Antiche Viti Reserva
Multifaceted aromas of coffee spice and mixed berry endure while one savors this elegantly crafted deep red wine. European oak influences of vanilla and cedar along with the winemaker's heritage secure this wine as a masterpiece.
|
Cabernet Sauvignon
Aromas and flavors of ultra ripe Raspberries complimented with shades of roasted game and white pepper. This fruit forward, medium body Cabernet offers firm acidity and a balanced palate of intense fruit that is nicely integrated with French Oak from start to a long, soft finish. The Medium tannins and fresh fruit will make this wine enjoyable in mid-year 2007 and for several years to come.
|
Moonrise
Reminiscent of a Provencal Rose, this delightful semi-dry wine has less than 1% residual sugar. Full of fresh picked strawberry aromas with hints of cranberry entice aromatically. The palate unfolds with pomegranate and light red cherry mixed with cranberry. A dry style rose to be enjoyed with foods with its sweet tart palate and racy acid. A nice fun wine anytime!

Pinot Grigio
Orange/grapefruit and honeysuckle aromas combine with a flinty finish. A premium Pinot Grigio, gorgeously balanced with leanings on the dry side. You’ll enjoy concentrated elegance married with aromas of spring.
|
Premium Chardonnay
The grapes were hand picked before being barrel fermented in new and one year old French Oak. Complex aromas of brazil nuts and toast combine with snappy lemon and vanilla flavors. The well integrated fruit and oak flavors are complimented with fresh, crisp acidity. Rich and toasty on the mid-palate with a persistent finish, this Chardonnay is a perfect accompaniment to shellfish and fish dishes with rich sauces. A well structured and balanced wine that will continue to evolve in the bottle.

Reserve Merlot
This wine is bold & beautiful with aromas of dark cherry, complimented by a full palate of black currant and hints of strawberry with a long silky vanilla finish.
|
Reserve Viognier
A wine of distinction, this fine Viognier presents orange/peach blossom aromas. An array of flavors fill the palate , beginning with tangerine and a hint of peach, and finishing with toasty vanilla with fine acidity unmarred by heavy oak. This wine begs for an accompaniment of gourmet fish, shellfish (such as pan seared scallops and shrimp) and white meat entrees.

Sunset
This delicate blend was inspired by the awesome sunsets that outline the Blue Ridge Mountains just to our west. With citrus flavors and a hint of apples and spice, it makes a delightful aperitif wine, perfect for sipping on the porch with a friend or after a long day. This fruity wine exhibits a good balance of acid to sugar, and is a good accompaniment to Asian dishes, spicy cuisine, and summer picnics.

Viognier
Our Viognier comes from South River Vineyards, owned and tended by Eugene Sullivan. South River Vineyards is located in Green County, Virginia about 30 miles northwest of Charlottesville. Gadino Cellars Viognier was barrel fermented in Hungarian oak puncheons for four months. It is a classic example of the wonderful tropical flavors so characteristic of the Viognier grape with intense aromas of orange, honeysuckle and a hint of vanilla sweetness. The mid-palate of clementine and pineapple are mouth filling and flavorful. The finish is long and persistent with just a hint of anise.
