Tres Suenos Vineyards and Winery
|
|
We at Tres Sueños have dreamed of seeing the development of the wine and grape industry in Oklahoma. Our dream is on its way to becoming a reality with the opening of our winery in May of 1999 in the cross-timbers area of rural Logan County in central Oklahoma. We are dedicated to producing the finest wines possible. We welcome visitors for free wine tastings and tours from noon to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Tres Sueños Vineyards and Winery is available for private parties, special events, and tours by appointment seven days a week. Richard Kennedy is owner and winemaker of Tres Sueños Vineyards and Winery. He received his training in viticulture and enology from Grayson County College in Denison, Texas. Richard is a member and former president of the Oklahoma Grape Growers and Wine Makers Association. We are so proud of our new tasting room, which was completed in May 2004. Its 4,000 square feet of space with huge windows and balconies overlooking our beautiful vineyard makes it perfect for weddings, family or school reunions, birthday parties, office meetings or celebrations, or just getting together with those with whom you love to spend time. Our pine-covered picnic area is so peaceful, cool, and overlooks our four-acre vineyard and 80 acres of woodland. Stroll through our vineyard, hike through the woods, visit with us about winemaking or grape growing, or just sit and experience life while enjoying Tres Sueños fine wines! We love to visit and share our place with you!

Chardonnay
Truly the king of white wines. It displays melon and butrter flavors with a hint of tropical fruit. Best served at room temperature with grilled fish or chicken. One of the few white wines that will age in the cellar well. It really goes well with oysters.

Pinot Grigio
Pinot Grigio typically is neutral in color and flavor. We gave it two hours of skin contact to create multiple layers of flavor and a slight golden color. It has hints of kiwi and pear. Marinate your fish, chicken, or mushrooms for a fantastic flavor. Serves well with white sauces and cheeses.

Riesling
If you like a hint of sweetness in your German style white wines then you will find this wine to your liking. Riesling can be appreciated in so many ways. We suggest salmon, tuna, or lobster, as well as your favorite German foods.
