DuCard Vineyards
While most of our grapes are used in wines made by Rappahannock Cellars, we have for the first time this year reserved a very limited amount for wines under our own label. We have three wines available: Viognier, Popham Run Red (a blend of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot), and Virginia Native Norton. To friends and supporters who have been asking about this for years, thank you for your interest and your patience. We did it, finally ! To others who are curious to sample Virginia wines, we invite you to share in the fun and excitement of this event. DuCard Vineyards grows seven acres of French and Virginia varieties, all meticulously nurtured and tended by hand. Located on a picturesque slope in the shadow of the Blue Ridge mountains, our grapes reflect the rocky soils and rugged landscape of Madison County, and yield wines with unique character and complexity.

It’s great with steaks, spicy ethnic food and chocolate.
