Rooted in the rolling hills of historic Missouri wine country, the 42 acre property boasts a vineyard, tranquil lake and lush garden landscape. Breathtaking views of the Missouri River Valley are captured year round from the terraces and veranda surrounding the winery's historic farmhouse.
Defiance Ridge can be your first and last stop in wine country as the winery is close to St. Louis and easily accessible from Highway 94 as you enter the Missouri wine country corridor.
Defiance Ridge reflects the owner's combined passions for wine, vineyard-to-table cuisine, unique events, warm hospitality and an authentic celebration of people and places.
The winery invites you to visit and enjoy a glass of one of their wide range of Missouri varietals, treat yourself to their seasonal aritsan cuisine or simply take in the surroundings of their beautiful grounds and view.

Baco Noir
Semi-dry red table wine. The microclimate at our vineyards has cordially welcomed and nurtured this unique grape, not usually seen in Central Missouri. Excellent with steaks, pastas or any full-bodied meal. Smooth and elegant!

Semi-sweet red table wine. Perfect with salty appetizers, cheeses or desserts. "The little black dress of wines." Delightful and flavorful.
