Tuscan Hills began as a dream of a local farm family and has blossomed into an instant success. Since officially opening on July 1st, 2011, the winery has become home to numerous social events, weekly music performances, and a constant flow of guests anxiously waiting to taste some of the areas finest wines. The owners, Wes, Wanda and Amanda Pitcher, and Larry and Annette Jackson, want all visitors to "come as our guests, leave as our friends."
Tuscan Hills Winery provides an old-world Tuscan feel -- a relaxing and intimate setting -- in the heart of Effingham, Illinois. We are particularly focused on offering exceptional quality wines. All are blends, which brings added complexity and interest to the wines. Tuscan Hills offers a full range of wine styles and sweetness levels, providing something for everyone. We offer wine tastings daily, and we host a number of meetings, parties, and special occasions.

Directions
We are only 1.7 miles off the combined section of interstates I-57 and I-70 in Effingham, at exit 162. The winery is located on 8 picturesque acres which were formerly part of the Kollmeyer farmstead (circa 1860).
From I-57/70 exit 162, turn south on US highway 45. Take the first left (east), at the stoplight, onto Technology Drive. Take the next left again (north) onto Althoff Avenue. Turn right (south) at the Harley Davidson dealership, onto Historic Hills Drive. After about 500 yards, our site is visible across the glen and through the old trees on your left.
