Owl Creek Vineyard is located on the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail in scenic southern Illinois. The winery features award-winning wines from dry, oak-aged reds to late harvest dessert style wines. All grapes used in winemaking are from Illinois. Surrounding the winery are numerous attractions including Giant City State Park, Makanda Boardwalk craft shops, antique stores, B & B's, and hiking trails. Hours: May - December: 12-5; January - April: Sat & Sun, 12-5.

Directions
From US Hwy 51: (between Carbondale and Anna) Turn east onto Water Valley Rd. at the Tourist Attraction directional sign. Go east 2-1/2 miles following "Winery" and "Wine Trail" signs. The winery is located on the left. From I-57: Exit at US Hwy 51, Dongola. Take US Hwy 51 north to Anna and continue north towards Cobden. Turn east onto Water Valley Rd. and proceed as described above.

Bald Knob
A Shawnee Hills grown Chambourcin finished off dry with brilliant fruitiness and color.

Domaine Des Sage
A dry white wine made from barrel fermented and aged sur lees Chardonel. This vintage is blended with Seyval Blanc to create crisp pineapple and ripe apple flavors.

Framboise
**Gold Medal & Best of Class - Fruit Wine 2002 IL State Competition** This is a sweet raspberry dessert wine fortified with grape spirits. Great with chocolate!

Owl's Leap
This is a full-bodied dry red wine made from a blend of southern Illinois' finest red grape varieties--Chambourcin and Norton. It has been aged in American oak barrels for 12 months.

Owl's Leap Reserve
A bigger version of our Owl's Leap - a blend of Chambourcin and Norton grapes allowed to age two year to add complexity, smoothness and a pleasant hint of oak.

Seyval Blanc
A crisp and fruity semi-dry white wine, made entirely from Seyval Blanc grapes.

Water Valley Red
Shawnee Hills grown DeChanauc, fermented nicely to a naturally fruity, semi-sweet red.

Water Valley White
This wine is a blend of white grapes, predominately Niagara, it is fruity and naturally semi-sweet.

A fruity semi-sweet blush wine made from Chambourcin grapes that lends itself to contemplative sipping on a breezy front porch.

This is a luscious, full-bodied sweet, late harvest style wine with honey and pear flavors.
