These white Riesling grapes are from the eight year old Leorie Vineyard on the Old Mission Peninsula. It is one of the best vineyards in the area and has been a pet project of the winemaker over the past five years. This floral and flinty Riesling has been crafted in an off dry Alsatian style.

Rieslings are made dry to sweet, but it is the sweet style Riesling that brought about its popularity in the United States. Mission:
Earliest grape planted in 17th century in what is now the state of California. Thought to have arrived in the America's by Spanish conquistadores importation. Known to be identical with the Pais grape widely grown in Chile and thought to originate from the Monica grape of Spain and Sardinia.
