The palate is luscious, overflowing with dark chocolate, Bing cherry and more ever-present blackberries. This finish lingers for what many would consider to be an eternity with, you guessed it, blackberries. Never alcoholic and never cloyingly sweet, this is one Port that is a true pleasure to drink.
Ideal with Stilton or blue cheese, almonds, walnuts and the occasional perfect chocolate.
