Description:
The DeChaunac is a light bodied dry red that was aged in light and medium toasted American Oak barrels, 2-3 years old. The ‘05 DeChaunac has an earthy bouquet with hints of dried fruit on the front of the palate and slightly oaky finish. This wine will get better with time, but could be enjoyed right now with roasted lamb or a juicy pork dish.
