Brewer's Art
|
|
Set in a grand Mt. Vernon townhouse, The
Brewer's Art offers many temptations for
your palate. Chef Dave Newman's seasonally changing menus feature meats, fish, seafood, pasta, and vegetarian offerings. Dinner is served daily between 5:30pm - 9:00pm (later on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays) and light fare is available from 4:00pm - 10:00pm. Our creative pastry chef prepares our homemade desserts. In addition to brewing our fine beers on the premises, we offer a carefully picked selection of beers and fine wines from around the world, and one of Baltimore's best selections of scotches and spirits.

Beacon
Our session beer, this is a fairly hoppy
yet well balanced pale ale

Ozzy
Our answer to the Belgian «devil» beers (i.e.
Lucifer, Duvel, etc.). Both rich and dry, this beer is
all too easy to consume in large quantities.
Hopped with Styrian Goldings

Proletary Ale
After much demand for a seriously dark beer, we came up with this delicacy. Black, smooth and easy to drink, this is our beer for the people!

Resurrection
During the fermentation of the first batch of this Abbey-style ale, the yeast «died» and was
«resurrected» by brewer Chris Cashell. Made
with five types of barley malt and lots of
sugar, this beer is quite flavorful,
without being too sweet.
