Laurita Vineyards & Winery
Opening in Fall 2006. Laurita Vineyards is a central New Jersey coastal plain Farm Winery dedicated to creating wines that derive as much character from the fruit as possible. It is our philosophy that a good winemaker allows the quality of the fruit to come out in the wine. Our responsibility as stewards of the land is to devote ourselves to intensive care when thinning and pruning the vines, during the hand harvesting and at the wine making stage, when the necessary attention to detail can only be achieved one vat at a time.

Chambourcin
A French-American hybrid, light to medium body, with cherry and spicy complexities. Clean, light finish with low acidity. Goes well with barbeque, beef, pork, pasta and grilled dishes.
Lemberger
A German red, bigger and deeper than Zwiegelt. It has an elegant fullness that can be very satisfying. This is a rich, polished and powerful wine with long lasting spice and berry flavors.
Norton
A rich, dark red, almost Zinfandel-like, with mixed berry flavors. It has a velvety texture with a penetrating aroma reminiscent of wines from southern France. This is thought to be the original American grape.
Zweigelt
An Austrian red, pronounced TSVYE-gelt, marked by a freshness and grace that go beautifully with a wide range of foods. Exotic spice and full of character; predominately aromas of cinnamon and violets that make it distinctive and unusual.
